Every year, YouTube looks back at videos that have gone viral and become movers and shakers of the year’s pop culture trends. The video site recently compiled a list of top videos and music videos that have garnered the most views right here in Malaysia! Interestingly, kids’ content won the hearts of Malaysians in 2016, with Monsta’s ‘BoBoiBoy Season 3’ finale and Didi & Friends’ ‘Lagu Kanak-Kanak – Rama-Rama’ claiming the top two spots.

As for top music videos of the year in Malaysia, local singer Aiman Tino reigns on top with his song ‘Ku Rela Dibenci’, written by his father and former singer Yusri Ishak, beating international artists like The Chainsmokers, DNCE, Jennifer Lopez and Maroon 5.
