They’re probably sitting home doing nothing (which is the best thing to do) or on vacation on some secluded island somewhere, or they could just be busy raising their kids.
Well, their free time will soon be occupied once they add a new job description to their resumes.
Barack and Michelle Obama have previously worn the President and First Lady hat, and now, they’ll wear a new one – TV producer.
According to Variety, the couple have signed a multi-year deal with online streaming service Netflix to produce TV series and movies.
No news yet on what kind of direction or genre the Obamas will concentrate on, but they will potentially be working on scripted and unscripted series, docu-series, documentary films, and feature films.
“One of the simple joys of our time in public service was getting to meet so many fascinating people from all walks of life, and to help them share their experiences with a wider audience,” Barack said in a statement.
How exciting!
What sort of series do you think they will produce? Who knows they’ll end up doing something dark like a crime-thriller or supernatural stuff like 'Stranger Things'.
