Company says value of contract will depend on number of workers repatriated.
KUALA LUMPUR: My E.G. Services Bhd (MyEG) has been appointed by the Ministry of Home Affairs to undertake the voluntary repatriation of illegal foreign workers for the Immigration Department of Malaysia.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, it said the contract commenced on Oct 10, 2017, and would end on Dec 31, 2017.
The company said that there was no fixed value for the contract, as it depended on the number of foreign workers who were successfully repatriated.
“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the company for the financial year ending June 30, 2018,” it said.
It said an agreement to formalise the acceptance of the contract would be signed and announced by the company soon.
