Here Are Ten Netflix Films Apparently Too Scary For Viewers To Finish

Always spending your time on Netflix? You live for horror films? This article is made just for you!

There are literally hundreds and hundreds of horror movies on Netflix, and picking a good one to watch is like winning the lottery: other people can, you definitely have no chance.

But thanks to a study done by PR firm Edelman, they've determined the ten films on the streaming site that will guarantee you a good scare.

So scary, in fact, many Netflix users reportedly turned off the movie after playing only 70 per cent of the runtime.

Netflix users be like...
Now, there could be many reasons why viewers turn off these movies halfway - like, your mother ask you to come down for dinner, for example - but Edelman is adamant (hey, it rhymes!) that it's not because the viewers lost interest.

"Technically speaking, these are the top horror films that couldn't finish. They made it halfway through, they made past the climax, but they just couldn't survive until the end," the company said in a statement cited by entertainment site Bloody-Disgusting.

So, want to take the challenge and see if you could finish these horror movies? Here's the list:

PS: Some of these titles may not be available in Malaysia, so if you can't find some of them, find something else to watch, 'kay?

OK lah, this movie was nerve-wrecking the first time we saw it. It tells the story of a pair of paranormal investigators and demonologists named the Warrens who were summoned to the home of the Perrons because some seriously spooky sh*t is going on there.
If you hated going to the hospital, you're gonna hate it even more after watching this movie. 'The Void' tells the story of a police officer who was trapped in a hospital together with the patients and hospital staff by mysterious cloaked, cult-like figures. Here's the best bit: the hospital is also a gateway to evil. OK, we're sold!
Yes, it's the same 'Piranha' movie where two civilians set loose a mad scientist's mutant fish near a resort lake. We don't exactly know why Netflix viewers can't finish this film. Maybe they're not fans of fishes?
Never has flesh-eating bacteria sound so scary. When a group of friends accidentally shot a man with a skin infection - and he happens to die in a reservoir and infects the water supply - they must now find a way to stop the flesh-eating disease while on the run from a group of locals out for revenge.
Nope, it's not a movie about a trip to the dentist - it's much worse! It's about a girl who has teeth down there and goes off chomping boys' down there. Now we can see why it's scary. Bonus: we dare you to Google the term "vagina dentata".
This is a movie we think non-sushi fans will find appalling. 'Raw' is a French-Belgian film about a staunch vegetarian who tries to fit in with her group of friends in veterinary school...by eating raw meat! A must-watch if you're a cannibal.
If you like travelling around the world, this one's (not) for you. Two American tourists and an anthropology student find themselves fighting for their lives when winged demons invade Jerusalem. Oh, just a quick note: it's shot in a first person format, so if you can't stand 'Cloverfield' you won't enjoy this movie.
If you've watched (or even heard of) 'Human Centipede', you'll know why this movie is totally messed up. Do not Google this movie. We repeat, do not Google this movie.
Why settle for one giant scare when you can be scared eight times? 'Mexico Barbaro' is a Mexican anthology horror film directed by eight horror filmmakers who try their very best bring tales of the most brutally terrifying Mexican traditions and legends to life. Ayy papi!
OK, this one is not really a hantu horror film, but the premise is none the less terrifying. A bank robber gets his just deserts when he and his hostage are terrorised by a psychotic sniper. We have personally not seen this movie before, but if a man who owns a sniper is stalking us, we'd imagine it'll be quite scary.
